The Steiff limited edition Porsche set which was originally a Germany exclusive but is now available and in stock here at JustTeddies. Just 1,500 of these Steiff items have been made worldwide. This stunning product is made to the highest quality and every detail has been carefully worked on; the car doors, boot and bonnet all open. The car has interchangeable pieces which mean that it can have its roof up or down. Also included are these two individual bears - you can set them up however you desire, each has the Steiff limited edition tag and gold plated “button in ear”. When you open the boot (at the front of the car like all real Porsches) you will find the parcel shelf, which can be removed. You'll discover a spare wheel, battery, and even a petrol can! When you open the bonnet (at the rear of the car) you find an engine made to the finest detail, which shows how much work has gone into this quality product. The car also has fully working steering and front suspension; in fact the only thing that is missing is a real engine! The interior of the car includes realistic features, such as folding seats, seatbelts, and materials which make the car as realistic as possible. The two Steiff bears which are included are made from the finest mohair. They are both 12cm and have been designed specifically for the Porsche set so they fit nicely inside the car. This shepherd set is exactly the sort of Steiff product that you would expect to see on antiques roadshow in many years time. This is because typically the most highly sort after collectors items are the sets of Steiff bears or animals that have multiple pieces that may be easy to lose or damage. Each of the shepherds and the three animals are made from the finest mohair available from Steiff. Every shepherd and animal also has Steiffs limited edition red and white tag in the ear. The shepherds are also jointed, like all true Steiff bears. This special set comes delivered in presentation packaging unique to this item.
